This policy explains how Dovydas.IO collects and uses personal data when you visit dovydas.io, submit an enquiry, request a free content plan, or otherwise contact us.
Who is responsible for your data
Dovydas.IO is the controller for the personal data described in this policy. Privacy requests can be sent to info@dovydas.io.
Data we collect
- Enquiry and free-plan data: email address, website or social-profile URL, business type, campaign/source parameters, and information you choose to provide.
- Communications: messages, project requirements, feedback and records needed to respond or deliver requested work.
- Technical and analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser information, referral source, campaign parameters and interaction events such as CTA clicks and form submissions.
- WordPress data: comments, login/account data if applicable, and security or anti-spam information such as IP address and user agent.
Why we use it and our legal bases
- To review your website, prepare the requested free plan, answer enquiries and take steps before a contract: performance of a contract or steps at your request.
- To deliver paid work, manage revisions, invoices and project records: performance of a contract and legal obligations.
- To protect the site, prevent abuse, maintain records and improve pages and services: legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
- To use non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies where consent is legally required: consent. You may withdraw consent through the available cookie controls or browser settings.
- To send unrelated marketing: only where permitted by law and, where required, with consent. Requesting a free plan does not automatically add you to an unrelated newsletter.
Analytics, cookies and lead-source tracking
The site uses Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand traffic and conversion events. Campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, click identifiers and page/form events may be recorded to measure which sources produce enquiries. WordPress and embedded services may also set necessary or preference cookies. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, although parts of the site may work differently.
Who receives data
Data may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, WordPress operation, email delivery, analytics, security, backups and project delivery. These providers act under their own terms or processing obligations. Google may process analytics data as described in its privacy documentation. Data is not sold.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where required, recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses are used by the relevant provider.
How long we keep data
Unconverted enquiries and free-plan correspondence are normally kept for up to 24 months so we can respond, maintain context and measure the service. Client, transaction and tax records may be retained longer where required by law. Analytics retention follows the configured analytics settings. Data may be deleted earlier when it is no longer needed, subject to legal, security and dispute requirements.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
This business service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal data through the free-plan form.
